The Paralympic Games serve as a powerful platform for athletes with disabilities (physical and intellectual disabilities) to showcase their abilities and inspire others. The Paralympic movement is growing, with more and more athletes competing and achieving success at the national and international level. The Tamilnadu Paralympic Sports Association (TPSA) hosted the 18th State Senior Paraathletics event on the 19th, 20th and 21st of January, 2023 at the "Tamilnadu Physical Education and Sports University" in Melakottaiyur, Chennai.
It's our responsibility to promote & support Paralympics to raise awareness, encourage inclusiveness, provide equal opportunities, inspire & foster a society valuing individuals with disabilities.
